About Omar Ahmed
My name is Omar. I'm the son of Hesham Hassan and Heba Mohamed. I'm 4 years old. I was diagnosed with End stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and both my kidneys have failed. I have undergone four operations thus far. I go to dialysis three times a week for four hours each time and am constantly in and out of the hospital.
The doctors at St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN have said that I'm in need of a life-saving kidney transplant and one of my parents is a potential donor.
Please help me to get a kidney transplant. May God Bless you and keep you and your loved ones healthy! Thank you!

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, many transplant families are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-related expenses. Volunteers are raising funds for COTA in honor of transplant patients like four year-old Omar Ahmed.
